Kirsten was my very first senior! I didn’t realize I would have so much fun photographing a senior! She was so fun and willing to try anything I asked of her. We got so many great pictures that it was hard to narrow it down to just a few. Here’s a peek into her session back in August.
My nephew, Tucker, had one year portraits taken in June. We did some outdoor first and then mom brought him to the studio to take some indoor pictures. He’s such a busy boy with an ornery personality. I just love those big brown eyes!
I asked if I could “borrow” one-month old Pacey for a newborn session so that I could practice using some of my new props. She was the best baby to work with! She let me move her and pose her to my heart’s desire. She slept for most of the time and was only awake for a few shots. Such a sweet little one!
Taylin came over for some newborn pictures when she was close to a month old. She was such a sweet baby making barely a peep! I love all those rolls!
This sweet little one year old was one of my very first clients. Hazel is a little friend of Orin’s and we get to see her quite often. I had a lot of fun capturing her true personality for her one year portraits last March.
I’ve finally decided to leap into the blog world with my photography! I launched Katie Doughan Photography about a year ago, and have thought several times about a “photography blog.”
I am a lifestyle photographer based out of Northwest Iowa with a passion for photographing babies, children, famlies, and seniors.
I want this place to serve as my online portfolio and a journal of my work. A way for me to share the day by day happenings of the studio and the great times I share with my clients. My hope is that through this blog you will get to know me and that my deep passion for photography is evident in each post that I write.
